It's Tax Time Again!

Document Actions

A limited number of tax forms will be available at the library.

It’s that time of year!  Tax Time!  Freeburg Library has a limited number of tax forms available in the foyer of the main entrance.  The IRS is printing a limited number of forms and the library has no control over when the forms arrive or how many we receive. Patrons may go to to print forms from home.

Illinois is printing even fewer forms and the library will receive only a small number of copies near the end of February.  Residents may go to  to print forms from home.  The library will print forms for $0.15 per side.  Residents may also go to the Illinois Department of Revenue Office in Fairview Heights at 15 Executive Drive - Suite 2; 618-624-6773.  That office is open 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.  The local Internal Revenue Service office is also in Fairview Heights at 380 Fountain Office Court; (618) 632-2567.  Office hours there are Monday-Friday - 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Closed for lunch 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.).

Residents are asked to remember that the library employees are not trained to give tax advice or to advise as to which forms are needed by individuals.
